- You must sign a contract for each and every service, so that
we both agree to our policies and terms of service.
- Pets must fully
vaccinated or in equivalent health and registered with the
appropriate council.
- Dog Walking - It is requested
that your dog or cat must be micro chipped or wear a collar with an
ID tag with a phone number.
- Worming, Flea
& Tick Protection - It is important that your pet be up to date with
their Flea & Tick Protection, as a tick or flea infestation can
make your animal not very well.
- We do not walk
multiple dogs together; this can cause unexpected problems with other
dogs or animals encountered. You dog /s will be walked on their own.
- We do not allow
dog’s off-leash for any reason unless the dogs
are in their own fenced in backyard.
- Scooby Lou’s Pet
Care
does not accept responsibility or liability for any client’s animals
that escape or become lost or injured, fatal or otherwise, when
clearly instructed to leave the client's animals in a secure fenced
in area.
- We do not share
pet sitting assignments with other pet sitters or individuals.
- Scooby Lou’s Pet
Care will
not bring other people to your home without you there.
- Scooby Lou’s Pet
Care
will purchase pet food, litter, cleaning supplies or other necessary
items that contribute to the health and well being of your pet while
you are absent (if necessary). We will retain a receipt and the pet
owner is responsible for reimbursement of these items.
- In the event of an
unforeseen circumstance, Scooby Lou’s Pet Care has requested on your
contract the name and phone number of a person living nearby and a
preferred vet. This information is provided to us so that we can
contact this person to request assistance if an emergency was to
occur. Your pets’ health and well-being is our utmost priority and
we will contact you as soon as possible to keep you informed if this
were to occur.
- Privacy Policy: All of your
information will be kept private and confidential. We recommend that
you inform a trusted neighbour or friend that while you are away,
Scooby Lou’s Pet Care will be caring for your pets and your home.
- Holiday
Cancellations: Any cancellations prior to a major holiday; ie:
Christmas, New Years, Easter, less than a 24 hour notice will result
in 50% of the total invoice for scheduled pet care to be paid.
- Scooby Lou’s hours
of service
are 7 days a week beginning at 7 a.m. and the latest regular visits
are scheduled for 9 p.m.
- Payment: Scooby Lou’s Pet
Care accepts cash, cheques and direct deposit. Payment is due within
7 days of service. An invoice will be provided at the end of your
service. Quotes are also available before your service.
- Note - all prices are
in Australian dollars and exclude GST.
